And just in case you get some kind of "Missing libtiff3.dll": (Usually can be found in earlier GIMP versions - GIMP's .dll files are usually located in C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin) http://seth.killey.me/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/libtiff3.zip If a link doesn't work, please let me know and don't hesitate to ask questions!! Hi! In this tutorial I explain how to index! I show you how to get a body ready to be indexed, then show you how to index a body with and without extensions, and I show how to make only one color change color (never tried the last part before so I hope it works). Sorry for the background noise, and my crappy voice I'm kind've sick so I hope you can still understand me! :0 Thanks for watching! I've notice a lot of people use GIMP more than Photoshop because it's free & it basically does the same thing. So, I decided to do another tutorial for Indexing Bodies since it was highly requested. Index just means being able to make your body able to change colors when you wear it on Graal. It's helpful to learn if you don't want to keep bothering others players to do it for you xD. GIMP was a little more complicated to use than Photoshop. It was also my first time using GIMP so idk if I did it correct or not 0: **If you want to download GIMP for FREE, go to : http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ Well, I hope the tutorial isn't too hard to follow through. Otherwise, you can follow Dusty's steps at: http://forums.graalonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134257117 1. Outline 2. Belt 3. Transparency 4. Shoes 5. Sleeves 6. Skin 7. Coat
Today, I am bringing you a video that shows how to animate with Gimp 2.8.16. I go over the basics of transparency and layer masks. I do an example of selective coloring as well.
