-The company (1997) is still certifying companies that are supplying materials to AEROSPACE, MEDICAL, INDUSTRIAL & AUTOMOTIVE, (Daryl Guberman-President GUBERMAN-PMC,LLC retains this information) -Region 3 Director of the ASQ " ISO does not certify the product it certifies the company that it meets the intent of the standard" -Daryl Guberman reply " But if the certification was claimed to be "bogus" how do we know the material, devices etc that are certified are good"? -Region 3 Director of the ASQ" even the test reports" - Daryl Guberman's reply "even the test reports could be suspect" -Region 3 Director of the ASQ" There have been hundreds of companies for many many years that have produced materials for the US government under the guise of MIL-I 45208 (Inspection system) Daryl Guberman " Out in the industry I have been in companies/people are saying "we have to have the ISO cert to perform our business" "we have to have it". DCMA response - Europe originally started with ISO and it was the way to off load work to America. Small companies are ISO and the larger companies are ISO many go to the larger companies - There was a story of a great supplier that worked for Sikorsky, The owner didn't want an ISO cert. Sikorsky liked this supplier they basically took the responsibility of their quality work". Daryl Guberman- "We are talking about a small microcosm, this is worldwide". People judge products on the companies certification, Maybe I am not drinking out of the right coo-lade container". Whether you like to hear it or not" "In the business I checked around believe the material coming out of a non-ISO certified company is not acceptable. Many Purchasing managers are told to only purchase materials from ISO certified companies. - Region 3 Director of ASQ " Have you ever seen a product on the shelf stating its an "ISO registered company -- Daryl Guberman's reply "Yes ( especially products made in Europe and Asia). - The audience along with the Region 3 Director- "They didn't follow their registrars instructions". 1 of the items on the auditors check list is to insure the producer is not using the ISO logo on their products" Daryl Guberman's reply" Its not the certification of the product its the symbol or logo I have seen on products". - The audience " The register says you can not use their logo on any product or marketing device you are deeming the product is certified by that particular registrar" -Region 3 Director " ( corrects audience member) "Marketing devices they allow to market your company as registered. Audience member" Our registrar won't allow us to use logo for marketing Daryl Guberman's response "See ladies and gentlemen the "INCONSISTENCIES" one registrar does this the other doesn't accept that". See the inconsistencies how can you have quality- Continued Part 11
Quality In Action – G-PMC LLC Registrars G-PMC, LLC. is a registrar that carries a distinct accreditation and a distinct mission compared to the accepted norms in the world of quality. We are a single accredited registrar, which means better adherence to standards and practices to issue certifications to customers. The customer will not only have better protocol, but just as important, real service and support, because of G-PMC’s, unique position and characteristics in the quality industry. This means G-PMC has the authority to register organizations, recognizing them for their Quality Management System’s (QMS) integrity and in addition truly “Adding Value” to a company and/or corporation. At G-PMC, we have over 34 years of quality knowledge and experience so that our customer can achieve their ISO certification in a cost effective manner and timely fashion, while confidently knowing that they have the continued backup of their registrar. We are the only ones who offer this advantage. The American Board of Accredited Certifications (ABAC) was founded by a group of quality professionals in 2003 with roots dating back to 1993. Today, ABAC is the leading independent accreditation board in the United States with association members, signatories, regional accreditation groups, and international observer organizations. With corporate headquarters on Madison Avenue, New York City, ABAC was created out of necessity to bring an independent oversight impartial of numerous so-called “official” accreditation boards such as ANAB®, International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and their subsidiaries. ABAC oversees accreditation and certification bodies assuring integrity, competency, and fair competition in the quality community. ABAC accredits certifications based on the fundamental principles of accountability, ethical conduct, and commitment to quality. ABAC is the only independent accreditation board in the United States overseeing the advanced implementation of specialized quality management certifications in the fields of manufacturing, machining, Kosher, armoring, modular, automotive, medical, agricultural, IT services, and numerous other industries. ABAC accredits certifications issued by registrars meeting the guidelines and policies set forth by the Industrial Leaders Group and overseen by ABAC Board of Advisers which has over 180 years of combined experience in the quality community. THE INDUSTRIAL LEADERS GROUP (ILG) formed IN 2003 to bring quality back to American manufacturing initiated back in 2009 to develop an independent accreditation arm tailored to the strict conformance of the International Standards Organizations policies and procedures. Industrial Leaders has completed numerous studies over the last three years that has shown a significant number of quality management professionals with an unfavorable opinion on the services received by their registration company. ILG has received many complaints from managers attending ASQ and SQA meetings indicating to be dissatisfied with the ISO certification process. The research supports an independent survey performed last year by the American Machine Shops Network (AMSN) showing a large portion of machine shop owners disappointed in not getting value added from their registrars for the money invested. Common complaints from businesses were an inconsistency in corrective actions where one year a company may get a few minor corrective actions, and the next year it passes without any non-conformances. ILG discovered after much research that there is no requirement at the time of record to be associated with any collective certification group. In fact by becoming a credentialing body such independence can be considered a benefit. Industrial Leaders is able to pick and choose as to who they want to dispense a registration certificate too. ILG can observe, evaluate with critical oversight, assess and allow its certified registrar to embark on companies that already have and or require documented procedures and processes, identify efficiencies and implemented systems. The registrar can carry out an audit and if the company and its quality system (QS) meets the standards, it will be able to award certification. The registrar solely accredited by the Industrial Leaders Group is G-PMC. Daryl Guberman- "they don't want to give you value added, they want to keep you where you are". They don't want to add value, Do they contact you? do they call you up and say is there anything we can do for you? (Other than every 364 days out of 365 day year) " I have contacts across the USA in the metals field, aerospace field, plastics medical etc, You have my card contact me" if you want value. Attendee audience- You brought up or Dr Hee brought up from the last meeting, what is going on with the off loading, For example Pratt and Whitney at onetime had 80% of its operations inside the plant. Its down to 20%! EVERYTHING is being offloaded. All the the people at the top are saying "you have to learn to do with less" So lets pick something all our suppliers can go with, will go with ISO certification." Is there any control out there, I think America's lost that control". Daryl Guberman- "The reason America has lost the control, I had an interview in 2008, The Director of Quality told me that in their position they must always look over my shoulder to make sure I am not going to get fired, because in my position in this place people are look at to get fired".YOU DON'T HAVE QUALITY THEN , YOU HAVE PEOPLE TRYING TO PROTECT THEIR ASS, NOT LOOKING AT THE PRODUCT". I told Jay what the problem was, Does the Vice President of Quality (Are there any Vice Presidents of Quality here? Hello , Hello, Hello, Hello (no response), you know why their probably out golfing."
- If I showed you the contents of information I have gathered over the last decade, you my fellow customers would take your ISO 9001:2008, AS9100, TS16949, ISO13485 & their other derivatives make it into a paper airplane and throw it out the window. - U know what you would be doing throwing that paper airplane out the window saying I could of bought a private airplane for myself I spent so much money. - This is why GUBERMAN-PMC,LLC wants to get rid to the convoluted QMS systems. - I have business owners that say to me "Daryl I don't even understand it, but I know I need it"the industry does not want the business owner to understand ISO,TS, AS etc. -WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE MONOPOLY ? - A monopoly is a market structure in which there is a single supplier of a good or service. A firm that is the single supplier of a good or service for which there are no close substitutes is also called a monopoly or a monopolist. For example, if only one company produced and sold computers the company would have a monopoly on computers. When only one firm provides a good or service, there is no competition to force the firm to produce the highest quality good or service or to sell it at the lowest possible cost. When a true monopoly exists, consumers cannot even buy substitute goods or services because nobody sells them. Certainly, businesses have the potential to profit greatly if they can become monopolies. However, many economists do not believe that monopolies are good for the economy, and the U.S. government has outlawed monopolies Daryl Guberman-President of GUBERMAN-PMC,LLC asks a question a Manager from the DCMA---- Mr. DCMA-DEFENSE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM "Why is it that the DCMA will only accept "ANAB-American National Accreditation Board accredited certs"? RESPONSE FROM -DCMA- "NO its not true" "it is dependent on contract and there are alot of small contractors that can't get certified" "there was one company I remember that just couldn't afford ISO certification"-"It is like you said "IT IS BIG BUCKS" -Daryl Guberman said to DCMA "I have a customer right now who got certified by G-PMC, I was sitting in on his DCMA audit -and he came back to my customer and said "Your not ANAB registered you can't get in here. "DCMA response "NO THAT'S NOT TRUE" THE DCMA CAN NOT SAY THIS" "we can't tell a company they have to be ISO registered.Daryl Guberman said " They didn't say ISO registered, they said ANAB. DCMA response " GIVE US THE PERSONS NAME" "People have no idea who is ANAB" Daryl Guberman's response " The DCMA has to talk with other sections and educate them."
Daryl Guberman- CEO - GUBERMAN-PMC,LLC and Possible Senatorial Candidate 2022 http://www.darylguberman.comTalks to business owners concerning QUALITY ALERT!- Forcing Manufacturers & Suppliers into ANAB(ANSI+ASQ) & China-lead IAF Accreditation” SCAM ALERT: Forcing Manufacturers Into ANAB Accreditation AMSN has received a number of complaints about numerous Quality Managers in the aerospace sector attempting to force their own suppliers into being accredited by the infamous ANAB (ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board). As many AMSN members know ANAB has been reported to numerous attorney generals, Federal Trade Commission, and is under investigation by the American Board of Accredited Certifications (ABAC). The complaints cites quality manangers are claiming via email to suppliers and/or potential suppliers they need to be ANAB accredited in order to be able to get listed on the so-called international database for AS9120 certified companies. Of course, being listed on a directory means absolutely nothing about your quality, nor does it have anything to do with whether or not your ISO certificate is valid or not. Please don’t fall for these costly accreditation scams. This is the United States of America, and you have every right to select the ISO registration company of your choice for your certification — whether its accredited or not accredited. The bottom line is, if you are happy with your certification body then by all means stay with them! Keep in mind the International Organization for Standardization states that accreditation is entirely optional. We do recommend accreditation, but only if the accreditation body brings added-value to your company such as ABAC (American Board of Accredited Certifications). ABAC is governed by highly experienced quality professionals serving a wide variety of customers, including small and large manufacturers, sub-contractors for aerospace giants such as Lockheed Martin and Boeing, as well as veteran owned businesses, federal government contractors, minority-owned enterprises, and many other businesses from small job shops to Fortune 500 Corporations. On the other hand we cannot recommend ANAB at this time. They have way too much negative press. Moreover, we just don’t agree with an organization that has supporters forcing suppliers to be accredited by a single entity in order to have a so-called “valid ISO certification.” Such practices is clearly anti-competitive, and downright Un-American! Think about it. Do you really want to be forced into using a single accreditation body? Or do you want to work with the accreditation body that can best meet your needs? You decide. In fact they try to claim to be the custodians of ' Accreditation" keeping possible competition repressed. "Occasionally, non-accredited organizations claim to the be accredited or imply that they are accredited. ANAB takes all possible steps to rectify such misrepresentations.(web.archive.org/web/20050210114349/http://www.anab.org) NOTE: ISO International Standards Organization- does not require or set standards for accreditation) This action of 1 company repressing other companies from being competitive, IS THIS "AMERICAN"? DOES THIS FOSTER CAPITALISM -Competition improves quality.
